To further enhance this relationship, our documented Safety and Training Program, personally designed by our managerial and supervisory staff is an example of just how much we value our employees. We treat our employees exactly how we would want to be treated ourselves. With a philosophy such as this, we have earned the respect and loyalty of everyone on our staff. In turn, all KEVCO employees are the absolute best exterior maintenance good will ambassadors in the business!
Safety is our first priority on the job site and in the classroom. As OSHA and ANSI mandates have evolved over the years in regard to the window cleaning industry, at KEVCO our work in the classroom has become just as important. Each member of our staff attends mandatory safety seminars that highlight proper use of all applicable exterior maintenance equipment and procedures such as
- Controlled Descent Equipment
- Ground level & Rooftop safety
- Suspended Scaffolding
- Tower Scaffolding
- Ladders & Ladder work
- Accident Prevention/Rescue
- Federal , State & Local OSHA/ANSI
In addition, the IWCCI ( International Window Cleaner Certification Institute- iwcci.org) is the certification program established by leading professionals in the window cleaning and safety industries to educate exterior maintenance people in safe methods of operation for equipment used for window cleaning and exterior maintenance purposes. The IWCCI program provides educational materials for English and Spanish speaking individuals for study toward achieving specific levels of certification on designated equipment. The different certifications will assess the amount of knowledge retained by testing enrolled participants along with requiring logging in verification of training hours. All followed very closely, each of the various types of equipment specifies the amount of training hours needed in order for completion of the certification program. KEVCO is proud to announce that all our staff is enrolled in the IWCCI certification program and more than half of our crews are certified and that number continues to grow! As you can see, we care about you, our employees and we take safety very seriously.
